Eliami’s interest in Traditional Chinese Medicine began when she was studying western medicine at the VU University in Amsterdam. Directly after finishing her medical training she began studying acupuncture at Shenzhou Open University in Amsterdam where she learned basic TCM.
She then continued with programs and seminars in the field of Eastern Asian Medicine including Toyohari and other Japanese acupuncture methods. Since 2007 practicing Japanese acupuncture, she has clinical experience treating many health problems, covering a wide range of medical conditions, among these are Pain and Musculo-skeletal complaints. She works as well with Babies and children.
In the Youth health care system, she works with children from 0 to 4 years: “The care for children from this age group is a very special part of my work.”
