Graduated in 1990 at the University Severino Sombra in Brazil. I came to the Netherlands in 1995 and did a follow-up study at the Vrije Universiteit in Amsterdam, graduated in 2007. During the study in medicine, I became increasingly interested in more comprehensive forms of care and well-being. At first I followed several bodywork courses such as Shiatsu, Relaxation massage and Cranio Sacral Therapy. Since 2002 I have focused completely on Eastern Medicine. In 2005 I graduated in Traditional Chinese Medicine [TCM] at Shenzou Open University in Amsterdam. Then I started specializing in the Japanese forms of acupuncture: Manaka, Toyohari, Shonishin (for children) and Kiiko Matsumoto style.

Since 2006 I am an independent acupuncturist and I also work as a regular doctor in Youth health care, with children from 0 to 4 years. The care for children from this age group is a very special part of my work.
